'Tropic Thunder' star Ben Stiller has revealed he is wishing for a "happy and healthy" 2009.

The 'Tropic Thunder' star confessed the new year had crept up on him and says he has not even thought about making any resolutions to better himself, but hopes the year will be as successful as 2008.

When asked what vices he will be giving up in the new year, Ben told BANG Showbiz: "Oh my God, I haven't even thought about that yet! Hopefully it will just be a healthy, happy year."

The star - who has two children with wife Christine Taylor - may want to consider monitoring his foul language in 2009 after recently revealing his love for turning the air blue.

He said of swearing on screen: "I hadn't done an R-rated film since 'There's Something About Mary' in 1998, and I'd forgotten how freeing it was.

"You just censor yourself so much more in PG-13 films - you can only say the F-word twice - what kind of movie it that?

"I want us to have to say the F-word more and more in life."
