Scottish band Biffy Clyro have announced that they will be headlining the final day of RockNess 2009.
The festival, which takes place in Dores on the eastern banks of Loch Ness, is set for June 12th, 13th and 14th in 2009, growing from two days to three days for the first time.
Other acts announced include The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx and Dizzee Rascal.
Fatboy Slim, who has been associated with each year of the event to date, will not be performing in 2009.
In an interview with the Daily Record, Biffy Clyro's Ben Johnston said his band would be using the headline slot to unveil new material. "We are bored out of our minds playing the same songs," he said. "We should have the (next) record done by then, and will unveil a ton of new material."
