Treasured Places
The centenary exhibition at Edinburgh’s City Art Centre features more than 180 modern and historical drawings and photographs from the collections of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS). Treasured Places, which explores the lives of Scots from our earliest history to the present day through the places in which we live, work and gather, includes stunning aerial photographs, intricate survey drawings and photographs, original architects’ drawings, and historical photographs from the 1901 International Exhibition at Kelvingrove, Glasgow.
