The iconic Union Jack-painted bus featured in the Spice Girls movie is being sold on internet auction site eBay.

The iconic bus featured in the Spice Girls movie is being sold on eBay.

The band used the Union Jack-painted double decker bus in 1997's 'Spiceworld: The Movie' and despite its instantly-recognisable appearance, no bidding has yet been made for the vehicle, which has a starting price of £3,500.

The bus' listing reads: "Originally built to the order of the East Midlands company for services in Nottinghamshire, this bus was eventually acquired for use as a film prop in the Spice Girls film, being driven by Meat Loaf.

"The interior views seen in the film were all recorded in a studio set, only the front entrance and the outside of the bus were used and changed for the filming.

"The vehicle was donated by the film company in 1989. It is hoped to restore this bus and present inside the lower deck, a small tribute to the famous five."

The auction ends shortly before 1pm in the UK (BST) tomorrow (11.10.08).
