Russell Brand is planning to seduce Dame Helen Mirren in a movie adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'The Tempest'.

Russell Brand is planning to seduce Dame Helen Mirren.

The 33-year-old British comic star is set to appear alongside the actress in a movie adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' and hopes to "get off" with the 63-year-old Oscar winner.

He said: "I'm growing a beard for a Shakespeare film with Helen Mirren.

"I'm going to try and get off with her. It's the big time, if I can get Mirren. I am going to seduce that queen! Playing a jester called Trinculo in the film version of 'The Tempest'."

The 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' star also revealed he has a crush on two young members of the royal family.

He added: "Princess Eugenie is looking nice. Someone told me they fancy me a bit, them princesses, Eugenie and Beatrice. Here's a suggestion. Two Princesses. And one glorious Duke of Love. Hmmm? Could it really be? No, of course not. Let's concentrate on Mirren for now."
