Autoconstruccion

Mexico’s Abraham Cruzvillegas has spent the last six months in residency at the CCA and Cove Park developing a show that is more than just an exhibition. As well as his trademark sculptures made from whatever he has to hand (‘wool, sheep shit, chicken wire, discarded furniture, cardboard, stones, grass or my own hair …’), he has been writing lyrics for Glasgow musicians, creating a book and planning a procession across the city. Together, this imaginative outpouring reflects on the 40-year-old’s upbringing in Ajusco in the south of Mexico City.

CCA, Glasgow, until Sat 8 Nov.
