New Kids on the Block are all "single" when they perform on stage.

The reformed pop group - who recently released a comeback album - claim that although some of them are married, when they get together in front of fans they pretend they are not in relationships.

Jordan Knight said: "The thing is, some of us may be taken, but when we're on stage we're all single!"

Married Joey McIntyre agreed with the sentiment, but added his performance is just an act and he would never take it further.

He said: "You might think, 'I'd really like to bang that broad right there' but obviously you don't because you're happily married!"

The group also opened up about their celebrity friends, with Jordan keen to set the record straight about British glamour model Jodie Marsh.

He said: "She is a go-getter and a flirt, but not skanky."

Jonathan Knight was less keen to discuss his relationship with 90s pop star Tiffany, claiming he simply "saw her for a little while".

However, Danny Wood was keen to clear up any confusion about the pair's relationship.

He declared: "What are you talking about? Come on, you were banging her good and proper for two years."
