Minnie Driver gave birth to son Henry Story Driver in Los Angeles on Friday (05.09.08), her representative has confirmed.

Minnie Driver has given birth to son Henry Story Driver.

The 'Riches' actress - who has so far refused to reveal the identity of her son's father - welcomed her 9lbs 12oz bundle of joy into the world in Los Angeles on Friday (05.09.08), her representative has confirmed.

The 38-year-old actress has hinted Henry's dad is English and "sort of in the same business", but refused to be drawn on any further issues.

Minnie previously revealed she was finding the pregnancy tough, and was suffering from severe nausea.

She said: "I am sick. I don't know why they call it morning sickness. I am sick morning, noon and night, but it's a fair trade-off."

The actress also said she was intending to have a natural birth, adding: "I'm totally the Mother Earth-type, and I'm not looking for any type of intervention. So I'm afraid."

Minnie can soon be seen in new comedy 'Motherhood' alongside Uma Thurman, due for release next year.
