Rainbow faith
The open-minded Metropolitan Community Church congregation bring history into their regular service this month, discussing queer heroes in the Bible, the MCC’s formation, spirituality and sexuality. A special inter-faith event will be held on Sun 25 Feb, and the organisation shoots through to Glasgow for a session on Wed 21 Feb at the Friends Meeting House, 7pm, with guest speakers including the University of Glasgow’s Vicky Gunn, who discusses ‘Writing the LGBT Christian into the past’. Services are at the Augustine United Church, 41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh, every Sunday, 6pm.
