Jennifer Pike
She was only 12 years old when she claimed the BBC Young Musician of the Year title. A Proms debut followed just three years later and she is also the first classical artist to win, in January of this year, the South Bank Show Breakthrough Artist Award. Now, top violinist Jennifer Pike appears with the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland as soloist for their summer tour in Bruch’s ever popular Violin Concerto.
