Kora

With a platinum album that has spent six months inside the New Zealand top 20 with rave reviews, the Maori brothers that make up four fifths of Kora are on something of a roll. Their sound is a unique blend of reggae/roots/dub/rock for which the quintet cite a plethora of influences including Bob Marley and Dr Dre. The band return to Cabaret Voltaire for two nights after a sell-out show in the venue last year, so you may want to book early.

Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh, Mon 21 & Tue 22 Jul.
