Afr-I-Can
Running between June and September, Afr-I-can is a loose series of events, talks, workshops and concerts led by artists of African origin and celebrating African achievement. Although the events are mainly aimed at families of African and Caribbean origin, there’s something for everyone here. This fortnight, Tarsisio Nyatsanza leads a talk on symbols and health (Sat 19 Jul) and Tawona and Ernest Sithole put on poetry and mbira music. (Wed 23 Jul)
Kelvingrove Museum, Glasgow, occasional events until September
